Author´s Biography

Alejandra Algorta (Bogotá, 1991). Is a Colombian writer and editor. She received the first mention in the IV El Barco de Vapor-Biblioteca Luis Ángel Arango Award for her book Pez quiere ir al mar. She is the founder and editor of “Cardumen”, a publishing house specialized in poetry.

Illustrator’s Biography

Iván Rickenmann (Bogotá, 1965). Studied Visual Arts at the L’École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. His work is known for capturing the everyday life, skylines and other objects of the city. He has made several exhibitions in countries such as the United States, France, Switzerland and Belgium. This is his debut as a children’s book illustrator.
