Author´s biography

Evelio Rosero (Bogotá, 1958). Is one of Colombia’s most celebrated authors. His work has been translated into 12 languages. He was awarded Colombia’s National Literature Prize. Los ejércitos won the prestigious Tusquets International Prize and the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize. As well as novels, he has written poems, plays, and children’s and young adult books.
