Botella papel

Botella papel is a book of prose poems about Bogotá that describes certain objects and occupations of the city that are about to be extinct or still survive hesitant in the streets. The book conveys a reverence for the minimal and reveals the magic of those simple things that surrounds us in our everyday lives.

Author´s biography

Ramón Cote Baraibar (Cúcuta, 1963). Poet, storyteller and essayist. He studied History of Art at the Complutense University (Spain). His poetry is deeply marked by his sense of temporality, which seeks through brief and intense texts to give a detailed account of past experiences, particularly of childhood and adolescence. The city of Bogotá is a main reference throughout his work.
