Author\u00b4s biography<\/h5><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]Gilmer Mesa.<\/strong> Gilmer Mesa was born in 1978 in Medellin, Colombia, where he has lived ever since. Graduated in Philosophy and Letters and a master\u2019s in literature from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana at Medellin, where he is also a professor. His first novel, La cuadra (Random House, 2016) won the Medellin Camara de Comercio Award, and it is considered one of the most dazzling Colombian literary debuts of the last decades.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner]
