The Cultural Entrepreneurship Group of the Ministry of Culture, the National Library of Colombia and the Colombian Book Chamber present the second edition of Reading Colombia. A selection of contemporary Colombian authors, which includes the titles selected by a program that aims to promote contemporary Colombian literature abroad by awarding grants to foreign publishers for the translation of literary works. In 2018, the first edition offered twelve (12) grants to support the translation of Colombian authors into six languages by publishers of Canada, Denmark, Egypt, the United States, Italy and Turkey.

The 2019 catalog gathers fifty (50) titles selected by a group of experts from over two hundred and ten (210) works nominated by forty (40) publishing houses across the country.
