Muysca: Numbers, myths and rock art
LUZ MYRIAM GUTIÉRREZ GRACIA

Summary
The book is a way to get to know the numbers of the Muysca Lunar Calendar that friar José Domingo Duquesne recovered in 1790. It explains that the first five numbers indicate the mythical time of Creation and the five cardinal points. It also exposes the function and the value of numerical symbols, proposing a correspondence with the demonstration order of the gods and of the myths, the Muysca design and the rock art of the cundiboyacense territory, in Colombia. While preparing for this book, I discover that the cosmogonic numbers are born from the facial organs of the Moon-goddess, of the moon-house, Owner of Time. I indicate the epiphany of the Frog goddess, emblem of the Calendar, proposing that this cosmogony is aquatic and lunar.
